There's nothing quite like spending a summer holiday weekend on beautiful Hilton Head Island! The July 4 th holiday weekend on Hilton Head Island promises to be a “big bang’ for the whole family with lots of planned activities and fireworks displays – you won’t want to miss all of the fun on Hilton Head Island!

One of the best things about a vacation on Hilton Head is that you can do as much or as little as you want to during your visit to the Island. If relaxing is your thing, renting a beachfront vacation home or villa may be just the ticket to help you de-stress and unwind. Kick back on one of our pristine beaches and let the Lowcounty tides wash away your stress or enjoy a refreshing dip in an ocean side pool with your favorite cocktail! If you’re looking to be in the middle of the action for the July 4th holiday, a harbourside villa vacation rental at Shelter Cove Harbour or Sea Pines’ Harbour Town will put the action at your doorstep!

The opportunities for fun are endless for a star-spangled celebration on Hilton Head Island this July 4th weekend. For those looking to get out and get moving, “The 26th Annual Firecracker 5000 Road Race and Fun Walk” will be held on Monday, July 4 at 8:00am at the Mall at Shelter Cove. The Hilton Head Firecracker 5000, is the largest and oldest road race in Beaufort County. Over 1100 runners and walkers from across the United States annually participate in this fun, healthy, family event. Wanna participate? More info here!

And of course what July 4th Celebration would be complete without fireworks?! Hilton Head hosts 3 fireworks displays around  the Island in honor of the holiday celebration. Each Island location offers a variety of entertainment and activities the whole family will enjoy!
